L’Hermitage II Face Covering Policy

Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis signed an emergency order which requires all individuals providing essential services and making deliveries wear a face covering over their nose and mouth while they are providing those essential services.  The order went into effect as of this past Saturday at midnight and will remain in effect until April 30 unless rescinded earlier or extended.

Moving forward, all staff working at L’Hermitage II will be required to wear a face covering when in the common areas.  Residents may have noticed this was already being practiced by most staff members.

In addition to the staff, any contractor on site for an emergency repair, anyone making a delivery, the mail carrier or anyone else providing essential services will be required to wear a face covering when entering the building.

The mayor’s order also strongly encourages all others to wear a covering over their nose and mouth when outside of their homes.  The Association believes it would be in our residents’ best interest to wear a face covering in all common areas of the property and encourages all residents to do so.

Sincerely,

Peter Anderson
